We have tried all sorts of nappies he sleeps on his tummy.He also sleeps about 11 hours right through the night.He just keeps on growing all in poportion. Thanks Sonya.he was born 2008 the DOB didnt show this.
Hi Sonya – the first thing to check is that they are fitting correctly as improper fit can contribute to leakage. From personal experience I found Huggies to be the most absorbent on the market and while I did experience the occasional leakage this was usually as a result of me leaving the nappy on for too long, or a good indicator that my son was ready to progress to the next size. I also found that I needed to upgrade before he reached the upper weight limit. I would try him in the Junior range which is suitable for 16kg upwards. Children’s overnight urine output can be quite variable – parents of children who seem to pass a lot of urine overnight sometimes find it easier to change their child’s nappy just before they retire for the evening. This is OK as long as it does not result in a disrupted night’s sleep. If you are at all concerned about his size (which may be genetic if both you and your husband are tall) or the amount of urine he is producing I would certainly recommend you consult with your GP.
