how can i stop my three year old from wetting the bed

my three year old son wears undies during the day. he always has his hand down his pants and his other hand in his mouth(sucking his thumb) and when ever he is put to sleep he is always has his hands down his pants and playing with his privet bits. and while he is asleep he pulls his Nappie up some how and wets the bed. so how can i stop this.? because he is wetting the bed every single night.

Hi Naomi, nappies with tabs can certainly be more easily removed by children than absorbent pants. You could try him in DryNItes at night. If you think these will be too big for him (the smallest size is designed for children weighing 17-30 kg) you could always put him in Pull-Ups, keeping in mind that these are less absorbent and more suitable for daytime use. It is not particularly unusual for young children to play with their genitals; it is just one other facet of ‘normal’ development. Some children do this out of interest and it often coincides with toilet training, for others it is a form of comfort, just like sucking their thumb.
