Dr Cathrine Answered:

Sometimes a change in environment can contribute to children’s bedwetting. It is also quite common for children to experience an increase in bedwetting when they are over-tired, as this makes it more difficult for them to wake in response to a full-bladder. If you are at all concerned about the sudden increase in the amount he is wetting at night I would recommend that you make an appointment to see your GP as bedwetting can also result from a urinary tract infection, which he may have developed while on holidays.
