Dr Cathrine Answered:

Hi Bianca, it is very common for 2-year-old children to continue to wet at night even after they have achieved daytime continence. Given his age and weight I would recommend that you keep him in nappies at night. These offer a similar level of absorbency as the DryNites and are better suited for young children. If he is showing a desire to be out of nappies you could try him in the nappy pant as he will be able to pull these on and off by himself, accommodating his need for independence. I would certainly hold off introducing the DryNites until he is a little bigger as improper fit may result in leakage.

Dr Cathrine
