My son doesn't "wet the bed"... well, not always
I don't consider that my 5 year old "wets the bed" because he still wears DryNites (so the bed doesn't usually get "wet").
I can't imagine sending him to bed without a nappy because he would flood the bed every night! Sometimes even his DryNite overflows. I couldn't handle having to wash the quilt cover, quilt, sheet and waterproof mattress protector every day (he tends to lie on the doona, so that gets wet too - agh!).
I hope that he will outgrow this stage soon. We may have to spend the next school holidays doing some bladder training. He doens't seem bothered by it, perhaps because he doesn't have anyone to compare himself too, but I'm sure he'd like to be a "big" boy and not wear a nappy to bed.
