About six percent of children continue to wet the bed at night by age 7 years – so you are not alone! While many children do outgrow the problem, some, particularly those like your daughter who experience a higher frequency of bedwetting may need additional intervention or support. DryNites are certainly a great way to help you manage your daughter’s bedwetting but they will not help her to stop. It is generally recommended that once a child reaches school-age and is wetting the bed on a regular basis (i.e., say three times a week or more) or the bedwetting is causing stress to either your child or yourself, you should meet with your GP or an Incontinence Advisor. Your doctor should have a better idea about what may be causing contributing to her nighttime wetting and what the best forms of treatment may be as these can differ depending on the child.
