Help for Teenage Disabled girl
My Daughter is wheelchair bound,intellectually disabled, and she also has a vision impairment.
Currently we are using Molicare nappies with success, however the are very bulky and people can tell she is wearing a nappies. They are also plastic on the outside and so make her hot in summer.
I don't think it is very good for a maturing young girl to be wrapped in plastic nappies so I thought we might try dry nights as they are cloth material and more like pants. She only weights 27kg and is very thin and tiny size 10 children pants. I would like to try them to see if they are a better option for her day and night. I sometimes put a sanitary pad in her nappy for extra absorbency.
