If you are a parent of one of the hundreds of thousands of children in Australia and New Zealand who wet the bed, we have some words of encouragement for you – You’re not alone!
Bedwetting is one of the most common childhood complaints. For instance, if you’re child is 5 years old, chances are at least two of your child’s classmates have night-time accidents too, so there are many other parents who are feeling what you are feeling. Despite how you and your child feel right now, it is very likely that your child will outgrow this problem with support and encouragement.
You are not alone!
Did you know that:
- 16.6% of 5 year olds wet the bed.
- About 10% of 7 year olds wet the bed.
- 97% of bedwetting kids are dry by the time they are 12.
- 98% of children are dry by the age of 15.

As with most things there are differences between boys and girls, and bedwetting is no different. That’s why we have designed our DryNites Pyjama Pants specifically to meet the needs of boys and girls. In fact, did you know that bed wetting is more common in boys than girls with around double the number of boys wetting the bed compared to girls.
